REPTILE ADVENTURES ON THE DOUBLE!
You and your family & friends will board one of Maryland’s first vintage double-decker buses for a one-of-a-kind ride through our beautiful city. Along the way, our Clippie (guide) will share fun highlights and fascinating tidbits as we wind through town, all while enjoying lively music for those who like a little seat dancing!
Midway through our journey, we’ll make an exciting stop for a reptile show, where you’ll get up close and personal with some amazing creatures—an experience sure to thrill kids and adults alike! After the show, you’ll hop back aboard for a leisurely ride back to the drop-off point.
Clippies will be present at all times throughout the ride to answer any questions you may have (including why they are called “Clippies”) and to ensure the safety of all passengers, big and small. A minimum total of 15 tickets must be sold for the tour to run. If we don’t sell the required minimum of tickets, we’ll gladly refund your purchase or credit it toward another exciting tour. 1. What should I wear?
Dress for the weather. When sitting on top it is important to dress appropriately for the weather. We do not have air conditioning on the bus but windows on the bottom level do open for a good cross breeze. This is an open platform bus which means in colder weather, it is best to dress in layers or bring a blanket to keep warm. On sunny, warmer days when sitting on the top level, it is best to wear lighter clothing and a hat/sunscreen.
2. May I bring my own food & drinks?
Absolutely, you may bring your own food and drinks! Just a couple of friendly reminders: alcoholic beverages must be in closed containers. And please remember to take your trash with you when you hop off the bus—let’s keep our vintage ride as lovely!
3. What if it rains?
While we can’t control Mother Nature, we’re ready for anything—except for heavy downpours! We’ll only go ahead in light rain mist, but if inclement weather poses a safety hazard, we’ll happily refund your tickets or reschedule you for a later tour of equal or lesser value. Just keep an eye on our social media channels (Facebook and Instagram) for updates—we’ll notify you of any cancellations at least 2 hours before the tour starts. Our charming bus does have heat on the bottom level, and we recommend checking the forecast and dressing accordingly for the adventure!
4. Is there an age limit for participants?
Everyone is welcome to join our adventure.
5. Are there seatbelts on the bus?
Ah, the age-old question! While our charming vintage London Double Decker bus might not come equipped with seatbelts, it’s all part of the fun! We recommend holding on tight to your festive spirit as we bounce through the twinkling streets. Just think of it as a delightful ride through Wintertime charm—no seatbelts needed for this merry adventure! So, sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride as we take you on a jolly journey!
6. Is smoking allowed on or near the bus?
We love a good puff of cheer, but when it comes to our vintage Double Decker bus, we kindly ask that you keep smoking of any kind (including vapes, marijuana, cigarettes, cigars or other recreational/illegal drugs) off the bus! To ensure everyone enjoys the festive ride, we’ve made the decision to go smoke-free on and near the bus. So, please leave the smokes at home. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation—after all, we want this magical journey to be as merry as can be for all our guests! Cheers to fresh air and good times!
7. Are there restroom facilities on the bus?
While our delightful vintage Double Decker bus is all about the scenic views and festive fun, it sadly lacks restroom facilities. But fear not! Guests of Maryland Double Deckers are more than welcome to use the lovely restrooms at RAK Brewing before or after the tour. So, make a quick pit stop and then hop aboard for a good time!
8. How do I get my tickets?
Getting your tickets is as easy as pie! Simply hop online to Maryland Double Deckers and reserve your seats for our whimsical adventure. But don’t dawdle—our tours tend to fill up quick! So, make sure to snag your tickets early and secure your spot.

11. What if I have to cancel my ticket?
We totally get that plans can change! While tickets are non-refundable, you can easily transfer your ticket to someone else if you can’t make it. Just let us know the name of the lucky person at least 24 hours before the tour so they can complete the required waiver. Simply send the details to [email protected].
And if we have to cancel the tour due to inclement weather or other unexpected circumstances, we’ll gladly provide a refund or a credit for a future tour of equal or lesser value. So, whether you’re passing on your ticket or rescheduling, we’ve got you covered!
12. What safety measures are in place?
Your safety is our top priority, and we’re all about having a good time while keeping things secure! Our bus will have an experienced driver at the helm and a friendly Clippie (that’s our tour guide!) to ensure a smooth and safe journey for everyone. 14. Are pets allowed on the bus?
We love our pets, but for this tour, animals of any kind are not permitted on the bus. We want to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all attendees. If you have any special concerns, please feel free to reach out, and we’ll do our best to assist you!
